We Don’t Politicise DAA3 Cluster Development Board Projects


Nyemoni was agog during the official commissioning and handing over of a Remodeled Abonnema Town Hall (Ama – Wari) by the DAA 3 Cluster Development Board (CDB), on 4th December 2019.
Nyemoni, as it is most preferably called by the indigenous people of Abonnema and Kalabari at large, is the home of the indefatigable Chairman of the aforementioned Cluster Development Board, Dcn. Christian Sekibo, Jr.
During the historic gathering of Chiefs, Traditional Organizations, Youth and Women Leaders to witness the Commissioning and Official Handover of the Remodeled Abonnema Town Hall, the Amanyanabo of Abonnema HRM King (Barr.) Disrael Gbobo Bob-Manuel(ii) was ably represented by the Council of Chiefs Secretary, Chief Fayeofori Membere,JP who thanked the Hon. Christian Sekibo led CDB for their prompt execution of the project.
He said: ” On behalf of the Abonnema Council of Chiefs and the Akuku-Toru Council of Traditional Rulers and Chiefs, I heartily thank you and your team of experts for building a befitting Town Hall with standard facilities.
“This is where the entire Council of Chiefs converge to address issues affecting our people and equally play host to visitors. Thank you for the new edifice and your magnanimity in discharging this project without any rancor. We enjoin well meaning KALABARI Sons and Daughters and other host communities to support your vision in rebuilding an economically valuable Kalabari”.
Earlier, while handing over the building to the Council of Chiefs, Hon. Christian Sekibo, Chairman, DAA3 Cluster Development Board, thanked the community leaders for finding him worthy to serve in such an esteemed position and promised to always serve the community to attract sustainable developments.
” Your trust reposed on me to serve our people cannot be taken for granted and it’s my resolve to protect the interest of our community. Hence, we are here for this auspicious epoch event.
“We don’t Politicise projects in the Board and autonomous communities are not left out in our scheme of projects. We’ll continue to project the community in the area of Development. Thank you for your cooperation and hospitality towards members of the Board” he added.
